the wild things

awesome! spike jonze turned the alltime bestseller childrens book “where the wild things are”, originally written and illustrated by maurice sendak, into a movie that’s supposed to come out this year.

who as a child didn’t love the book where a young boy is sent to his room without supper after he misbehaved. once in the room he enters an imaginary forest with monsters…

it’s going to be interesting to see how the director of ”being john malkovich” and “jackass: the movie” interprets this tale. quite a jump but jonze is a fantastic director.
