like the idea of a digital sketch book or electronic paper like the one noteslate works on. don’t have to feel bad anymore about doodling away since you don’t waste paper which should help keep some trees up and living (although manufacturing devices like these aren’t usually environmentally friendly either). makes it easier to archive notes and sketches too.
bamboo laptop case

although i know that these kind of products and cases are often unpractical i do really like the idea. silva limited makes these cases out of solid sheets of bamboo, then cuts them out to meet the specifications of the laptop. they are sanded, glued, felted, and finished all by hand. the hide is hand cut into strips and shaped to get a comfortable feel, then hand burnished and oiled to get a strap that not only feels great in your hand but will also last forever. check out the website.
